What I’m Looking For
Mob United Media accepts submissions for its Mobworx, OpenLine and Ready 2 Run game lines.
Mobworx
Mobworx books are always creator owned. I purchase worldwide English rights with first refusal on future options. Mobworx’s creator owned philosophy is a bit different from what you might be used to if you’ve produced mainstream or independent content.
When you partner with Mob United Media you’re getting editorial and design guidance from a third party capable of looking at your project with the necessary distance and practicality to avoid the problems of pure vanity publishing. This creates a distinct standard of quality and encourages you to push your ideas to their finest expression. Mob United Media also handles layout, production and sales.
I’m looking for original ideas – games that aren’t afraid of the “art” label. I also want general work on the topic of RPGs, including player and GM advice, systemless sourcebooks and anything else that’s clever enough to publish.
OpenLine
OpenLine products are work for hire; we purchase all rights. I might make some exceptions for ideas that are strongly tied to a specific setting or group of characters. Please note that I’m most interested in new or under-represented Open Content. Leave well-covered topics alone.
Ready 2 Run
R2R submissions consist of a combination of work for hire and creator owned work. I’m looking for original game settings that would support R2R’s simple, straightforward approach to character creation as well as content for existing R2R games.
You don’t need to know the system well; I’ll help you adapt your idea into Ready 2 Run content. Ready 2 Run’s strengths are in rapid character creation and strike by strike action. Your game setting should be able to utilize these traits to the fullest while offering something more than a venue for traditional adventure gaming.
