  • @mytholder It's called being a better writer than you used to be. You pay the price of seeing how you were worse. #
  • Canon Puncture devotes some time to "one foot in the grave" http://preview.tinyurl.com/exqys Article at http://preview.tinyurl.com/lbotzz #
  • Watching the Tudors; want to sample the petulant scream of "I'm the King of England!" #
  • Finished Knights of the Hidden Sun Intro, now a bit into Ch1. #
  • I *love* the Singleton remake of Shaft. #
  • @filamena This is how a lot of spontaneous online rping is happening. I've been mentioning this to tabletop fans for 3 years. They get mad. #
  • Saying that more teens will play tabletop RPGs with a virtual tabletop is like saying they'll do more math with a virtual slide rule. #
  • Good morning. A lot of work this weekend. I relish it. But my back is *killing* me! #
  • @MCHenley I'm not dissing Jubilex itself, but it's not exactly one of your more aesthetically complex demons. #
  • Did they ever do a miniature for Jubilex in AD&D1E? Was that job given to the crappiest minis artisan, because it could be? #
  • @candaceshaw You're hiring someone to do something? I'll do it. I don't have any of those common hangups about "doing it right" either! #
  • @infomorph is a gentleman. I can't tell you why, but y'all should know. #
  • I also found redemption for this morning's massive screwup and am looking forward to some intense writing this weekend. #
  • It will feature the 1e PHB demon lying on its side, with one horn snapped off. #
  • I have an idea for a series called New School. It will be like the Old School, but actually involve progressive creative effort. #
  • The end of my copywriting week is minutes away! #
  • I just woke up and discovered that I'd been totally fucking something up for months without even knowing. Fantastic. #
  • I repeat words like that all the time speaking, too. Yeesh. #
  • Of course, the redundant verbiage in that last one made me look dumb, which is kind of fitting:-) #
  • @davidahilljr I think sometimes a passion for history and culture makes some people stupider. #
  • @kynn Yeah, but much of the time they get as good as they give. #
  • @MCHenley lighten up, leprechauns! #
  • @jachilli Yeah, I can't joke about hating Dr. Horrible because I actually don't like it. Not big on Whedon in general. #
  • Finally got around to Twitterfox. #
  • Canada now requires Visas from the Czech Republic and Mexico because of false asylum claims – code for discouraging Romany and Natives, IMO. #
  • But I want the crew of the Antipodean to feel real failure, the kind you can't get with player narrative control. Now I have to uplift them. #
  • The urge to offer another chance and cheat for them was very strong. The urge to force them to act decisively was also strong. #
  • Instead, they sent NPCs in to do it for them. The NPCs blew it. The hostages were delivered to their enemies in shackles, basically. Sad. #
  • They could have participated in an AI experiment and risked everything, ot destroyed the experiment, killing innocents. They did neither. #
  • Oh man, the characters lost in tonight's game. They just lost! It was depressing, very tempting to "empower them" and wreck its impact. #
  • The End of Fail: http://bit.ly/w2NTU #
  • http://tinyurl.com/l6hzor noms show how online groups differ from online consensus discussions. RPG fiction is supposed to suck, remember? #
  • Oh hey, Razorkids, too! Congrats to @davidjhill. #
  • Ah, up for an ENnie again. #
  • Also psyching myself up for heavy bag workout. #
  • vlogs vs. podcasts: What are your experiences? Considering one or the other. #
  • Thinking of following some new folks, but not sure who. #
  • Twiddling my thumbs, rented Dark Athena for the week, thinking about starting it. #
