Knights of the Hidden Sun: Interstellar Fantasy

They say the Gods are dead, gone beyond even the souls that power guns and starships and the dreams we use to communicate across light years. They taught us their Art: the runes that twist cosmic forces to make all the wonders of our galaxy possible. They taught every technique but one: the soul rune, the power rune, the shaping that makes a human like a God.
They say the Gods are dead, but that’s a lie, because I’ve seen Her. I’ve given Her my perfect trust and she has bound me with the one lost Art. By will alone I can fly as fast as a Tyrant corvette. I can knit flesh and bone with an act of imagination, or open a portal into the uttermost void.
Don’t be frightened – well, don’t be frightened of Her, or of me. Be frightened because she’s not the only survivor. Beyond Her, there’s one who’d drown every world in a nebula of blood.
You don’t have to trust me yet, because I’ll prove myself. I’m a Knight.
